Alejandro: I used Kicad as it was something I had used before. Everything was very straightforward and the footprints updated easily. I made the schematic below and it made sense. The more difficult part was converting to a millable format which required me to do a bunch of layers in inkscape and then I messed up how the layers overlapped so that outline wasn't actually outlining the outside etc. I think this should be slightly fixed once there is an svg to nc format on mods like there is for png.
Nancy:I started out using Kicad but switched to Eagle.The workflow is similar, but it is much easier to export an image of traces from Eagle. It's already built in. Then you can just upload the png to mods.
