To design adjustable reading table that is adjustable to different sizes of books/note-books and working environment.
Materials:
(a) CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360) to design the 3D model;(b) Laser cutting machine; (c) Cardboard; (d) Vinyl cutter; (e) Vinyl paper to make the tag/sticker for the table.
Fabrication:
The project involved designing a 3D model first, using Fusion 360, and then transferring it to the user interface (CorelDraw) to command the laser cuttung machine. Following the fabrication,
a sticker was desgined and cut using a vinyl cutter to attache it to the top surface of the table.
Fabrication Mishaps:
(a) I forgot to check the "Intereference" function in the Fusion 360. It can be seen in the technocal drawing. As a result, I didn't identify (before cutting) that I didn't design the cuts (slots) on the table side legs to hold the table top.
Eventually, I identify that during the laser cutting. So, I had to redo the laser cutting after fixing my 3D model.
